Is the HPU ICDEOL Degree Valid?
Yes. Himachal Pradesh University was set up in 1970 by an Act of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. It is a state government university, and it carries an ‘A’ grade from NAAC. Distance courses run through CDOE come under UGC-DEB rules. The degree you get names Himachal Pradesh University, not a separate distance body, and it is taken for government jobs, private jobs and higher study. HPU has itself said in the past that it moves its distance admission dates to stay in line with UGC-DEB guidelines, which shows the centre works inside that system. Before you pay, do one small check: open the DEB list for the current session and see that your own course is on it.
PCP Classes and Study Material at CDOE
Every HPU ICDEOL student gets printed study material for the subjects they pick.
