LNMU Distance Education admission runs for undergraduate, postgraduate, library science, and teacher training courses. B.A. is the course with the widest reach at LNMU Distance Education, and past notices show it was filled on a first-come, first-served basis rather than by a merit list. A 10+2 pass from a recognised board is the entry rule.
M.A. runs for a minimum of two years and a maximum of four, which gives working students room to finish at their own pace. Study material is printed in Hindi, but the exam can be written in Hindi or English, and students pick that at the time of the exam. The M.A. course also includes counselling sessions, project work, and a viva. Both courses need a check on the DEB list before you pay.
LNMU DDE BEd Admission 2026
B.Ed is the course that needs the most care. In past sessions, the form opened on 1 February with a last date of 2 March, and the application fee was INR 1,000 paid by Central Bank challan. Seats were fixed at 500 for the two-year course.
Selection was not on merit. Candidates sat a Common Entrance Test of 120 objective questions in two hours, set at NCERT and CBSE level. Eligibility was 50% marks in graduation or post-graduation, and the course was aimed at untrained teachers and in-service elementary teachers. Fees quoted for B.Ed have ranged from INR 51,100 to INR 1.52 lakh, which is a large sum. Distance B.Ed also needs NCTE approval on top of UGC-DEB approval, so check both lists before paying.
